Wallpaper Removal
When taking on a project such as wallpaper removal, the first thing we think of is “What chemical can we use to make it easier to remove?” The simplest and safest way to remove wallpaper is vinager and hot water. It has been used longer than any chemical on the market. The hot water looses the wallpaper glue, while the vinegar helps dissolve it.
- If your wallpaper has a coated finish, pulling off the top coat is your first step or scoring the wallpaper will speed up the process. Specialty tools are sold in most hardware stores to help score the wallpaper.
